Most parents we spoke to said they are welcoming the removal of masks in schools, so much so, that many were asking why students have to wait until March 12 - "What is the point of waiting?"

You have to do a cost to benefit analysis.

If I felt strongly about the kids wearing masks and I thought the mandate was going to continue, I would just pull my kids out of school.

But pulling them out of public school and educating them privately has its own costs too.

The masks will be gone by April, I predict.

They should be gone now but bueracracies move slow.
