Yeah I don’t love that mid day west wind in Thursday’s local forecast. That’s my best/only window to surf on Thursday, gotta go into the city that afternoon for a big client thing…Friday is looking tasty from one end to the other

Swell starting to fill in, Blues blitzing right up to the sand this morning, NJ aint so bad in Sept(usually).

Depends on what you want...I wouldn't surf with all the cars parked on hwy 12 that's for sure.

Firing but drifty in the KDH to Pea Island zone...the right bars are holding if you do the treadmill.

Disappointing for me, starting to look a little better. Warm water, not flat, cannot really complain.

Folly Beach got real fun after Mindy passed and the wind went offshore. I think some short period south windswell from the storm crossed up the Larry groundswell. We had some wild Mindy storms here this AM and now it's glassy, sunny and low tide. Should get quite fun on the tide push. Not big, but at least it's not closing out. Tomorrow Surfline has said it will be bigger here in the AM. It won't.

yup, there's surf and it's warm...but the swell period is just too long. spent all morning hunting for corners in clean shoulder to head-high surf and did not find many. took a few beatings in the process. had more fun during Henri. ymmv.

Extremely inconsistent and soft where I am at.

2nd session a few miles down the road much better. Mostly closeouts but a few corners but at least had some punch.
