Where I grew up half the families were working for Hughes, Lockheed, Gruman, Aerospace, Northrop, Douglas…solid middle class neighborhood.
Again, not saying I agree with trickle down or with our huge MIC, but that “nonsense” was the staple of the Republican Party for at least a half a century.
It’s time to rename the Republican Party the Trump Party, because that’s what it is. And if Trump wins in 2024, he should paint the White House gold and rename it after himself.

We have to consider whether the US is just a bank and a missile field with cattle after de-industrialization.
I guess the Russians can make missiles faster than we can. Pretty impressive for a gas station with nukes. Maybe Clinton shouldn't have held the Last Supper to punish those who voted against him or offshored our industrial base.

Or we could've said, "Ukraine will not join NATO and we will stop meddling there" back in 2022, which will be the outcome anyway.
