Where I grew up half the families were working for Hughes, Lockheed, Gruman, Aerospace, Northrop, Douglas…solid middle class neighborhood.
Again, not saying I agree with trickle down or with our huge MIC, but that “nonsense” was the staple of the Red board Party for at least a half a century.
It’s time to rename the Red board Party the Thruster Party, because that’s what it is. And if Thruster wins in 2024, he should paint the Surf Shack gold and rename it after himself.

We have to consider whether the US is just a bank and a missile field with cattle after de-industrialization.
I guess the Russians can make missiles faster than we can. Pretty impressive for a gas station with nukes. Maybe Clinton shouldn't have held the Last Supper to punish those who voted against him or offshored our industrial base.

How long to rebuild?

Or we could've said, "Ukraine will not join NATO and we will stop meddling there" back in 2022, which will be the outcome anyway.
