I customized the flat, minimal kick Creatures fish pad to fit my Dark Arts Simster from Hank Warner. It’s got a narrower tail so not a true Mini Simmons, but I’m sure that pad would work well on one. Figured it wouldn’t hurt since it’s a more HP outline with a thruster set up. Also look at the DaKine Wide Load and FCS T-3 Wide pads, I have them on a few other wide tailed grovel boards. I never did put pads on my OG Joe Bauguess Minis from RK since they’re more cruisey.
Here’s the Simster

Really?? I love mine. The little logo fell out but it isn't peeling up around it or anything. Probably my most surfed board this year too. Must be all the dead lifts.

Von Sol Flying Manta pad is the best for Mini Simmons type boards, and it ain't close.
mostly agree, but I’ve had a couple really thick and a couple thinner, like the fish pad. Never had any fall apart on me.
I’ve always liked the DaKine retro fish pad too, but harder to find lately.
