It doesn’t surf like a trad twin/dual fin minisim which are fairly skatey IMO. These are MUCH more HP. As I understand it, RK considers these his perfect SoCal thruster. All the ones you see on his vids ridden by him and his crew of disciples are 3 fins (or twin + trailer)

Its the only board that has given me this much trouble. lol. I love it though! Rode it today and had a blast.
so, erbb consensus is 2 1/2 thickness rather than the stock 2 9/16 on a Revo for a 185-190 lb human? Shey said a 5'7 x 19 5/8 x 2 1/2 Revo is about 31 liters.
That should be plenty, IMO. Not that there is much difference between 9/16 and 1/2. But I would just go with 2 1/2.
To me, stringlerless (blue HD strip) XTR rides/floats 0.5-1.0L bigger
Apologies for the absolutely horrendous picture but it’s the only one that I could find of the rails on my 2 1/2 Revo, which felt perfect FYI
I think XTR is about 0.5 more float than my other Firewire boards. (I hope Havoc reads this).
Also, update on my order - I went with JKB's advice and switched it to 5'0" x 18 1/8" x 2 1/4". I also asked for the rails to be tapered. Stoked!!
