I am starting to think a lot of Tomo's boards would be good as a keel setup.Wouldn’t keel fins or quad work best on a Simmons like GMM II?

Congrats!
Should have gone 5'0
.........and 8.C
It doesn’t surf like a trad twin/dual fin minisim which are fairly skatey IMO. These are MUCH more HP. As I understand it, RK considers these his perfect SoCal thruster. All the ones you see on his vids ridden by him and his crew of disciples are 3 fins (or twin + trailer)Wouldn’t keel fins or quad work best on a Simmons like GMM II?
If only he could get the fin placement right, eh? Did the seventh version nail it?? #goldilocksI am starting to think a lot of Tomo's boards would be good as a keel setup.
DO NOT CHANGE THAT ORDER. Love it and it will love you better.
I might have to change my order.
I'd go with @jkb

He ordered five fin boxes so a lot of options to try. Maybe @ReForest will report back in the future. It doesn’t surf like a trad twin/dual fin minisim which are fairly skatey IMO. The fin placement, rocker and length have all been nailed down on the El Tomo keel.If only he could get the fin placement right, eh? Did the seventh version nail it?? #goldilocks
To me, stringlerless (blue HD strip) XTR rides/floats 0.5-1.0L biggerso, erbb consensus is 2 1/2 thickness rather than the stock 2 9/16 on a Revo for a 185-190 lb human? Shey said a 5'7 x 19 5/8 x 2 1/2 Revo is about 31 liters.
sweet, thanks for thatApologies for the absolutely horrendous picture but it’s the only one that I could find of the rails on my 2 1/2 Revo, which felt perfect FYI

Are the stock rails pretty full?I think XTR is about 0.5 more float than my other Firewire boards. (I hope Havoc reads this).
Also, update on my order - I went with JKB's advice and switched it to 5'0" x 18 1/8" x 2 1/4". I also asked for the rails to be tapered. Stoked!!
I dont know. Im just doing whatever JKB tells me.Are the stock rails pretty full?
lol exactlyI dont know. Im just doing whatever JKB tells me.
