It would be interesting to know how many stamps were ordered due to this thread
Back on topic...I ordered 3 new and have one used because of this thread. All good shapes + excellent build quality. One is magic. Would love to try a WTF next. Wish I had known about him years ago.

Fins on a WTF? Controllers look like they would go well but I don’t own them and don’t really want to buy a set just now.

1. Best overall:
2. Best of a 5 fin set.

Thanks,

The Hess quad set from true ames is another good one but probably not needed for your weaker mush in VB

Hi all, new Stamps custom(er), and he recommended the flare for me for everyday to decent waves around southern california. Is anyone going with e-series shapes?

flare is more snappy,,feels more hi performance so I tend to gravitate to the flare unless I know is gonna be extra small and shitty. although that other board with the round tail can hold just fine once it gets bigger. its just the round nose sometimes gets in the way if the drops are steep
cheers.:waving:

I borrowed one of Tim’s personal boards, maybe the blindspot E that he made for a wave pool, and it went really well at a beach break. It was just a bit smaller than I like.

Flare doesn’t have much of a nose flip.

Dunno that I would E it.

edit: actually, maybe the round tail looks cool but i don’t usually find it functional for SD

Same. I fondled one of Tim’s personal e’d boards and he was stoked on it… but ended up ordering a normal pointy gx.

HSS in HB Main Street … and across the street there’s a shop but I forgot the name - it has boards hanging by the tail going around on a conveyer belt above you
