Do you care to expand on the Banjo Q over the BF? On the fence on my next order between these two boards. Thanks!

$375 for those on the ERbbb

BF I'd say is suited to someone who wants an easier and different ride coming off a shortboard or hybrid daily driver since you can notice the rocker compared to other fish. Bango is easier for those who are riding boards with more volume and/or surfing less through the week. BF = more shred, tighter radius, bango = easier paddle, faster off the bat and through flats, slightly more drawn out. If in doubt Tim will always get you on track via email.

agree with this. I have a 5'8 Banana Fish and you definitely notice how it's not as flat as typical fishes

@twofeet you have a Can Opener, right? how's the entry rocker on that compared to Banana Fish

The rocker on the can opener is only slightly more than bango. Could've been almost equal as I didn't notice much different although it was a longer can opener. BF def more rocker than can opener

Pretty much have ridden my two flares exclusively as quads. Been noticing I've been having some struggles getting up the face at times. Ran it as a thruster this morning and wow. Board feels so good. Had a double up 4 banger and my first turn was once of the best I've done in a long time. Board is so good.
Put the AM2s in my flare 3 years ago and never took them out.

Thanks for the insight! Next fish order gonna stick with the Banjo, but in Q setup. I already have a Banjo keel and RR/Flare. Seems the BF would crossover to much. Whichbis waht i was afraid of. Was riding the Banjo daily now grabbing the RR/F almost exclusively.

Rode my 6’2 Flare Up today in head plus mixed up inside outside beack break. Board is a keeper. Planes well on flat sections to connect the deep spots but still digs in when I want to push it on rail. Board is way wider than my usual but still is so HP and precise. Have a 6’6” unridden I’m hoping to sample next week with more swell. Also still have a yolo 6’3 Varial Ghost I’ve been meaning to surf but the Flare Up just seems like a better call on weird days where its not top to bottom the whole wave.

Finally got my 5'10 Blender RT in some decent waves this morning. It was waist-to-shoulder high with some bigger sets up to HH and fairly peaky with some hollow sections. I exchanged the fiberglass MF's for a set of JS larges. The fiberglass fins made the bort a little too tail heavy, so I wanted a set in AirCore to get the lightest set possible.

Bort went REALLY well. I got some some really fun feeling wrappys and lip tappys, plus a pretty propper barrel with a doggy door exit. It's my first round tail that I've ridden in a long time and I'm pretty stocked how it went.
