Tim has a really good template but he places the boxes differently for those keels and, like you mentioned, they’re G10. Wish there was a non-G10 option at NVS because they seem to support shapers better than Futures or FCS.

you want the ruler against the board for trailing edge of the base of the fin.
that is fin dependent thoyou want the ruler against the board for trailing edge of the base of the fin.
looks like 6.5ish. you could get away with a keel that has less base for tiger sheds.
amk specific tells me what I need to know.that is fin dependent tho
how far is back edge of futures box where fin sits to shapers dot?
fibonacci bruhamk specific tells me what I need to know.
wasn’t gonna confuse the question with dots, boxes and golden ratios
i contacted nvs about making a standard fiberglass set. said they need a min order of 20 sets to do it. agree g10 is way too stiff. tried a set recently and no thanks.I ended up trying out the AMKs in my banjo this morning. I loved it. More drivey, held through the last 10% of a turn better, and yet was still easier to throw up into the lip. I think the flex plays into that too. The NVS stamps fins are pretty stiff.
Ill give the BMTs a chance, but after today Im not feeling the need to change it up.

In hindsight, I think the flex was my only problem with those fins. The flex of the AMK is more forgiving.i contacted nvs about making a standard fiberglass set. said they need a min order of 20 sets to do it. agree g10 is way too stiff. tried a set recently and no thanks.
Looks like my boards are coming along, very excited for these....

more foil more better for low speed shreds. fast acceleration changes.I wonder how the thickness of the fins plays into it too. The g10 fins are paper thin, whereas the AMKs are pretty thick.
that’s what she saidbut but but fish dont go good backside.
