Sounds nice. I bumped up to 2.63 on my newest GX with All other dimensions the same and asked Tim to keep the rails the same as my previous 2.5. Came out great and added a good bit of foam while still being easy to tip over.
that's exactly what I did with version 1 to 2 but from 2.5 to 2.56

I think we are in another transition era of adding more foam.

BTW: surfed my friend’s Roswell, Tim’s most high performance egg. It was 6’6, not sure how wide, 2.5. kinda blew my mind

Personally, I’m not ready for that lifestyle. I’d have to redo my whole quiver, get a van n sawhorses n chit. I’d stick to quad.
