Bagged a few gems from Tim last year too. Here's the boart prune for ya

I don't surf. Just have a weird surfboard addiction. Thanks for humoring me, Tim. Always top notch boards and customer service.

Dayummmmmm!!!! I really like the look of that Speed Egg. I'm kinda torn between that and the Skillet for my new 2020 purchase. 7htTekU.gif

Are there many indo fish owners on here? I've been so in love with my banjo that I'm tempted to get an indo to complement it. There's been a couple days at my preferred reef breaks where I felt like a "step up" version of the banjo with a little more rocker and length would've been perfect.

Sadly only have room in the budget for one new board this year, it's going to be a tough decision because my GX is getting pretty tired.

I have an Indo/Banjo mashup that is 3" longer than my Banjo. It has a little more rocker and narrower nose/tail. It surfs pretty much how you'd imagine. Bit more hold and rail line to push against. I went PU so it's also just a bit less lively feeling than my EPS Banjo.

I don't seem to surf it as much as my Banjo because I think it overlaps a bit more with my HPSB's. Whenever I ride it I have a blast though.

I could see that. I imagine it wouldn't get nearly as much use as my Banjo, but my step ups also don't get much use either, so it makes sense. Thanks for the input. Gonna have to obsess over it till I pull the trigger.

I think Tim's advice on fuse was, 1/2 wider, 2 inches less than flare. Good in mush, but quantum quad seems better in mush if that's what you are getting it for.

On my Flare, I went one inch shorter than Gx and half an inch wider, same width.

Gx = 5’10, 19.5

Flare = 5’9, 20

Rode the blindsquash this morning because of the thread hype. nice feeling, sitting nipple deep again.

still works. will surf again.
I love that board. I'm on my third. Rode it again today. Scarecrow would have been the call if the larger sets weren't 99% hopeless closeouts
