To the right of Brennecke's would be the lifeguard tower, the showers and bathrooms, couple of houses n' small beach and the Marriott and fun surf outside from that. :shaka:
Yeah, I first started surfing at Waiohai in the 70’s.

Brennecke’s used to be a good body surfing spot back then, like Sandy’s, before the hurricanes took out the sand. Never came back to its full glory, unfortunately.

Are you in Shelter Cove?
My daughter is a Junior at HSU. Wait......I guess it's Cal Poly now.
Go Lumberjacks!
We're in the hills east of the Cove...came to HSU in '69, never left, first surfed the Cove in '70. Land was cheap all over back then so we did buy 3 contiguous lots in the Cove. Cool on your daughter, great place to be. Go 'Jacks!

Or, it could be Duke's here in Campbell River.
Every Thursday they have two-for-one fish and chips, either Cod or Halibut, and my buddy Joey and I always attend.

Try link and scroll down a smidge.

Now I wonder how many eating places are called "Duke's"??

Take care.
Today there are six Duke’s Restaurants each on unique, spectacular waterfront sites. kauai maui waikiki lajolla huntigton beach. mAlibu.. i believe no compensation is giving to heirs of Duke
