Kind of surprised to hear that. It seems pretty rockered out of a mid plus it's got that pulled in tail. I feel like a lot of additional rocker and you'd be looking at a big guy shortboard.

the build on the epoxy/pu JS's are pretty dogsh!t to say the least, here for a good time not a long time...
I have a friend who has one, and it seems to have held up pretty well.

i can only speak from experience of owning one that was the worst quality build of board i've ever purchased in 35 years, plus seeing a few friends that have barons in the same build looking similar after not that long, 3/10 would not bang.

Rode my old, dinged-up 7'2 Mid Strength yesterday, thinking Outer Point would be marginal and sex in a quarry (fcuking close to the rocks). Well, even if it wasn't perfect, there were nicely cupped out hh sets, and it handled things well. Too bulky and long to go straight up the face, but did manage some decent turns.
Way too big for me now, but it does a lot of things quite well. Wouldn't mind giving the new Full Strength a go.

Not that anyone asked but can vouch for arakawa holy moli in decent to good surf. Really easy to surf the board just goes. I have a 7' and grab it whenever its head or higher and theres some push.
I've been pretty strongly drawn to this one and the Stun Gun from EA.
^ Same feeling about the 6'10 holy I have. Thing paddles into everything and takes off. Not a board to make friends with.
Wide point back like a V bowls. Should be more of it. Shaper sounds like he has the skills.
Watched that this morning too. Gotta say, that mid does looks very maneuverable.
