Got the 7’4 & 6’8 Kookapinto Thin Twins back from lam yesterday. Corey shaped the blanks for me and I took them to my buddy’s shop to glass them. Will wax the pair after work today and give them a go tomorrow experimenting with my quiver of S-Wings and then see how AMKs go in them on Monday

I look forward to your impressions of the S-wings. I have the red version of the 520's and the mid keel ones. Never tried the G10 Keel ones.

This came up on another thread ( or maybe it's buried back in here).

Is this midlength surfing? If so, it it done "properly" according to the erBB style police?

You can practically hear him grunting in the turns. Did they use lead stringers in the 90’s?

HS Plunder which is in custom dims that wasn't ready on time I picked up from the HS outlet store.
Stock 6'8" is 22&1/2" x 3 @ 50.4L whereas this one is 6'8" x 21&1/4" x 2&3/4" @ 43.7L. Should go alright in a mid length capacity.
Always thought the short ones the pros rode looked fun. Let's see how a stretched one goes. Thinking along the lines of the micro longboard plan shapes like Tak scorpion, DVS weiner, Greedy beaver (gasp), Mandalas, Happy shovel and so on.

Ando getting all Knosty on an 8'1". The interesting thing if you find mid lengths interesting...is that the shorter lengths are subtley different to the longer ones. According to Hayden:
"I designed the longer sizes in the model range 7'7”-8'7” to ride more true to a glider, and the 6'7”-7'1” to have a more forgiving and curved outline for versatility in smaller conditions.”

Anybody else have problems jumping back on the shorty after riding midlengths?

Somebody needs to make a midlength edit soundtracked by the shitty 90s punk music we were forced to listen to in the Taylor Steele videos.

Anyways, whenever I see Devon Howard surf I think of this:
