A lonely person will often talk about how they miss their friends, don't go out much, feel sad, and generally tell anyone they can corral how better life would be with people in their life.

A person who hasn't gotten laid in awhile will think about sex, talk about sex to others, hit up dating apps, go on dates looking for prospects, and occasionally will try to improve themselves to make them for sexually desirous.

Ever notice how politicians and clergy talk about being moral?

People who are missing things, talk about what they are missing.

My neighbors are getting work done on their house while they are in Texas for the holiday. Dad, mom, two kids. Nanny in the in-law unit is also out.

Work has been going on for past two weeks. They are changing the two car garage into 1 car and making office downstairs.

Yesterday was filled with the whine of high speed tools cutting through exterior stucco so they could put in windows. Two 4x4 windows.

At 4:30 PM two big old square holes on the side of the house that they then just pushed the prefab windows and taped into place (duct tape), then just covered everything with big sheet of plastic and taped that to the old stucco around the 4x4 holes as the rain started coming down at 4:31 (ok, exaggerating, but they were cutting the weather close).

This morning, look out front door, sheet of plastic gone, window partially popped out, rain coming down.

It was raining all night.

The workers just showed up. Lots of talking. Lots of muttering.

I wonder how much water got in.

330 horsepower engine that is only this big? Wonder about the cost but things are getting small/lighter/better...where is my improved source of electrons already?

The result is a compact motor capable of putting out up to 335 horsepower and over 440 lb-ft of torque while weighing just 30 kg. It's designed to pair with the company's cutting-edge "David" 6-phase inverter to make the Terrier drive unit, which combines two Quark motors back-to-back to make an incredibly compact torque-vectoring drive unit capable of putting down 670 horsepower. Koenigsegg claims it's "the most power/torque dense, torque vectoring drive unit in the EV industry."

"Small high-revving motors can have higher peak power to weight ratio, but they need transmissions in most applications in order to get to the desired output rpm and torque, causing energy loss and adding weight and complexity to do the same job," says CEO Christian von Koenigsegg, adding "So any benefit in size is lost." The Quark's "raxial flux" design helps eliminate this by compromising between power and torque with the motor's fundamental design.
