Not the most radical picture, but always loved this one as well.
This is one frame from Ballard's video of Ken Bradshaw at Log Cabins on 1-28-1998. As the wave peaks, Ken is concealed behind a smaller, unbroken wave in front of him. At this moment the wave is supposedly about 80 feet tall.

Too many to pick just one, but I always loved this one- perfect style and just a tad radical.
Whats the story on this one? Kelly had priority and about to steal Parko‘s wave?
I know exactly what you're talking about. The shots were from one of The Search films. At the time it was the most radical thing I'd seen. Still searching for it.
The clip appeared in either the first or second installment of The Search. Rip Curl used to have these films on their website for free but it appears they have taken them down.
