What's an Aeroshield?
the short john is the one nate florence was wearing while having to swim in twice at huge pipe in a recent youtube video thing.
i can think of times when i would like to have that extra confidence in broken leash situations. Far from shore or in places that recycle you a while before letting you go.

In the q&a the first response is that bit about being able to make a fullsuit version.
If it doesn’t hinder movement much, i think i want one. Maybe i’m getting old. Maybe the waves have been a lot lately. Less likely to drown sounds nice, though

Just picked up a new colby+ hooded 4/3. Suit feels really nice but I was in-between sizes a bit. 5'10" 175lbs with wide shoulders and back for reference. Tried LS, L and XLS. Ended up with the L. The XLS fit everywhere best but was too short in the torso. No room in the crotch. The L is a bit tight across the upper back, hoping it will be ok.

I would say upper back and shoulders get highest stress areas on suits for stretching so should be good after a few surfs :shaka:

I'm 6'1 205ish with wide shoulders and have the XL. Love the suit but same issue. Particularly suit pulling up on my nards pushing them into my body. Was thinking of the XLT so emailed Colby about it. They said the tall version is 1/2" longer in torso and arms and legs. They also mentioned the Yamamoto with glued seams can be prone to creating a vacuum effect that is most noticeable in the crotch. Next time I surf I'm gonna try intentionally flushing suit with water and see if it alleviates the suction.

That’ll wake you up on those crisp dawn patrols! Suit pulling up on nards, or having to intentionally flush a winter suit? That would not be a keeper for me.

have gloves improved any in the last 10 years? Mine were made in 2011. We haven't had a winter cold enough that I've worn them much in a while. But now that is upon us. No complaints with mine but i'd like to go thinner.
