Water temp was 62 yesterday and today at a certain SD spot. Clear skies and sun.

I wore a 3 year old 3/2 with no liner and smoothskin. Was toasty, even with yesterday's 20 mph offshores thanks to smoothskin. I would not have been as warm without it.

Noticed:

a) lots of guys shivering, even today with minimal wind, some of them in hooded 4/3s
b) smoothskin making a comeback on some suits (because it works!)

like new condition. its super warm. 4/3.... and feels super stiff. like a 5/4
i'd like to figure out what years its from. the elastomax stuff inside, hydroloc, batwing, ... might be from 2010

Stocked! 13-year old neoprene is just starting to get broken in. Should soften up nicely in another 3-4 years. Be patient.

Good 2/2 short arm steamer suggestions, please. Warmth and smoothskin on chest/back more important than ultra flex.
