I run accelerators in my driver. Lost fins worked well too.

Personally, I would try the K2.1's in it first, then go from there.

The Accelerator mediums are pretty big for a medium fin. They are probably better described as being in-between a medium and a large......and the rear fin is the same size as the fronts. Might be too much fin for your weight.

You could try the small accelerators, but I found them too small for my taste.

I found Matt's boards usually go best with his fin set (GMBs) even though the mediums are sort of large for some one 140.

Try the K2.1's if they lack drive go for something bigger and rakier.

Yea the smalls are always too small and the mediums are usually big. I like these 2.1 because although bigger I can force them around etc

Try pairing thruster set sides which feel too big with a smaller center. The 2.1 rear is the m3, which is why you can easily force them around. You can even throw in an m2 to make it even looser. I think a few people on here have done that to some success.

Someone once wrote on here that 90% of the magic of the k2.1’s is the smaller trailer. They were correct.

And to think years ago I just used whatever black plastic fins we had. G3000s.

Just found a single old ass vector future in an old board, not sure where the rest are, the blacksticks similar? (Inner foil )

If i were you , keep the k2.1 fins . I think the old foils and better than the new ones .
Second . Get a custom set From Griffin . Far superior to anything available

The old ones were scooped out all the way into the tip . Only fun in pure mush

Answering for myself since I jumped on the Elmore fins by captain -

Haven’t surfed them yet but compared to the AMT the fins are set further back, more rake, and more area in the tip. So, much different fin and worth giving a whirl. Can’t wait for some more waves...
That set looks like a 100% upgrade to the MR

Yeah. They feel really heavy, i mix the large fronts with the medium centre. They come to life when theres lots of power in the wave, bowlier the better. Not over raked but long base gives drive and sharper turns. Felt great with power, underwhelming on smaller days.
Id like stretch to make that larger fcs 2 size in futures, the pink ones are a bit small.

I'm really digging this set-up on my buzzsaw, Archy fronts, and QD2 4.15 flat foil rears. I haven't actually given it a direct comparison to ST2 yet, but so far this has made this board magic!

K2.1s also have a pretty wide base and keep some width to the tip as well as being pretty upright so I think the special sauce isn't just the smaller rear.

Also at least some of the Merrick sets have a smaller rear but personally I don't jibe with them because of the narrower tips and the rake.

What's the general opinion on 3D Fins? I've been thinking of getting a new set of fins, and I was considering some of these...
