I found that the AM2 suits it incredibly well (take my advice with a small pinch of salt, as I like that fin in nearly every board )Any advice for futures fins for a 5’8 Tomo evo (interested in both thruster and quad options)
I’m about 200lbs
Short, chonky tailed board and a 200lb. rider, yep AM2's are a good place to start.I found that the AM2 suits it incredibly well (take my advice with a small pinch of salt, as I like that fin in nearly every board )
T1 is smaller than the MR setAre the futures T1 the same thing as the FCS MR set?
Any verdict on the alpha construction - Fancy plastic or stiff like g10?

Possibly too small for you, but on my 5'5" Evo (I'm 180), I stumbled onto the Machado blackstix thruster (grey base) with a smaller rear fin, and really like it. Nice smooth hooks. For quad, I use the FireWire Futures set, mostly on smaller days.Yes on Am2
Prolly get the 5 fin techflex set as those are great big guy quad trailers
I think these are pretty close. Although I like the look of the Kraken fiberglass ones as well on their site. They look a bit smaller w a smidgen more sweepDo you know what is closest to MR in futures base?
Been loving the Machado set on my Pyzel Gremlin. Feels faster than my normal thruster setups but still stable at the same time. I've tried a bunch of different setups on this board from quads to my go to thruster sets. Machado 2+1's on that board is money. I usually surf that board in the typical 2-4ft stuff in SD. Never rode the AMT's so can't comment there.Does anyone have a ride report on the machado 2+1 setup? How do they compare to AMT? They look closer to thruster
