I listed one of my old boards I don't ride as much anymore. It's had some repairs, but it's made by a big-name label. I listed it at $250, expecting to get offers around $200.

I sold it for $200 in two days, and I got an unsolicited email from some guy telling me the board is worth $20.

That's a new one for me.

Big label boards sell easy. Listed a near 10yr old board for $300, had a number of $250 offers in the first hour. Waited a couple days and sold for $280 to a stoked out fella.

Good luck if it’s not a name brand OTR showroom type board. Those never seem to sell easily, IMO.

But you could sell bruised, cancer patched, yellowing lost/CI boards for $250 a pop no problem.

and some people wonder how surfride keeps their doors open.
