My mom's whole deal was cooking. That was her hobby. My old land lady's deal in La Selva Beach. That was her passion.

Coming home from work. Pulling into the driveway. Opening up my door. And she would come over with a tray. "Tell me if you like it".

The good old days.

It happens :shaka: At first I'm like, "what kind of badass vertical grill set up is that?!" :ROFLMAO:
when you try to post from iphone and it asks you what size to post, small, med, large, actual size? I usually post small thinking it will help the upload and it will come out straight.... not this time, lol!

First attempt at fried fish sando, inspired by McDonald's Filet-O-Fish.

fish filet.jpeg

Fish is frozen cod from Smart & Final Extra (quite good in this context).
Top bun has tartar sauce from scratch.
Bottom is lined with a cole slaw from scratch.
Cheese is Kraft "Deli" singles.

From a recipe on seriouseats.com.

'kin'ell.

One of the best things I have ever tasted. God fuckin dammit that was good.
