This is such a rad looking board. Better outline than the Fling, IMO. I like the pulled in nose.

So what is the deal with the smooth? Is it just their "hawaiian lam" or standard glassing?Just got the email asking to confirm color. Stealing that blue for a tail dip and inquired about smooth finish too. Now lets get into some nice hurricane swell in August so I can not just stare at it upon arrival.
I saw that in person the other day when I sold a few boards there (had to pay for my new Coil 2 pack!). Great looking board. I was tempted to snag it but I think it's a little on the small side for me.5'4" x 21 x 2 1/2 Coil Industries "Quad Fish" Surfboard - The Board Source
This board is in excellent condition with very light pressures and no dings. Fins are available at a discounted price with all surfboard purchases.theboardsource.com
Can't say as I've never had the hawaiia lam. Kirk did mention that the smooth tech would be 'beefier' and 'stronger' than the standard dimple lam, which is their lightest glassing schedule. So what is the deal with the smooth? Is it just their "hawaiian lam" or standard glassing?
One of my old coils from 2014 pops up on craigslist every year or so and it still looks great and "excellent condition."Gotta love how virtually indestructible Kirk’s builds are. Every time they turn up used, the post says the board is in excellent condition.
Nice looking board! It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but is it a variation of blur? Widerboard?New board arrived Saturday. 6'1, meant for better waves. 1.15 ft^3. Took it out in less than intended conditions and had a good time. Smooth bottom and a less aggressive dimpling on top than previous. Weight feels perfect.

kirk@coilsurfboards.comAnyone have contact info for Coil? My last 2 were shaped by Mike Daniels but it looks like the email address is no longer valid and their website is redirecting. From what I have read seems like I need to contact Kirk?
