Blame the press?
How about the president, who has a track record of lying?
He’s got 0 credibility
Even some of his followers don’t believe what he actually says

And if that tweet is implying the president didn’t believe it because the media is misleading, well, that’s even more pathetic

intelligence and CDC new about what was going on in Wuhan in December

the administration was notified in early January

let's set aside some of the reality/validity in your *sensational* headlines,
and look at the fact that the administration knew what was going on and
did absolutely nothing but fret about their poll numbers and re-election
chances.

We had a president telling us to go to work if we have covid19

But it’s the press who is the reason it wasn’t taken seriously?

That makes no sense

So trump's failure to use the powers of the federal government is the press's fault?

The virus loves gaslighters.

Meanwhile, the mega churches in Florida and Texas are operating as Covid nurseries.

You say to "set aside some of the reality/validity in your *sensational* headlines," and then proceed to tell a bold faced lie by saying the administration did absolutely nothing. Nothing could be further from the truth.

You do highlight one thing though and that is that up until only recently the only purpose the media saw in the virus was to use it as a new vehicle to attack the president. Your lie is perfect evidence of that.

Wait, you're saying the "Corona bin Virus determined to attack US" memo was sent to the current iteration of functionally illiterate Republican President and said Republican President ignored it and played golf?

There’s actually some truth to all of this. It’s well known for a while now that POTUS doesn’t listen to his advisors, has limited attention span in briefings and doesn’t read reports that come across his desk. But he does seem to listen to Fox News. So perhaps we should blame the media?

That tweet is implying nothing of the sort

The press has been pimping chicken-little-end-of-the-world scenarios for 4 years. Of course the public is going to be slow to respond at this point.

How would you rate the reporting of CNN and MSNBC for the past 4 years?

Why do you need the administration to hold your hand for everything?

While the administration was doing nothing, the press was bending over backwards to make sure they didn't seem racist against Chinese people when covering the virus

The president said go to work with covid19
He said 15 cases would probably go down to zero quickly
Can you attribute some of the slow response to that messaging?
