A bit Southeast of Lakeland lies Lake Wales, Florida. If you hate everything, you're in luck! There's nothing there.
I was always a fan of Florida, but i fell in love when i was sitting at a Waffle House and the girl who's shift was ending was talking to the other girl saying "Ah have 5 dollas left and ah cain't decide whether to buy anotha pack of cigarettes or eat lunch"

This is why Waffle House is a functional barometer of the disasteryness of a given area.

This sounds like you were at a Bucs/Jags game but flying out of Orlando, and stopped between the city the game was in and Mickey International?
I believe this was somewhere in South Florida. It was a year where both the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl were in Miami and my wife and i were driving down to the Keys. This was her first experience in a Waffle House and almost the last. I've made her go again since with the kids and me

I'm guessing Homestead/Florida City.

Yes. I think it was Homestead.

I'm sure I will end up in that state eventually. It is destiny.
IMHO Arizona is probably better for hiking and mountain biking. My guess is, the terrain is better for jeeping in Arizona, the mud/swamps better for mudbogging here. I don't know much about that except my one buddy who had a jeep said he could drive through anything. Except that one flooded low-lying lot. We more drifted across than drove through it. But once the tires hit bottom on the far side she pulled right out.

The humidity seems to be opposite extremes, and I'm taking the fishing and hog hunting in Florida over that in Arizona. I am pretty sure, on your own private property, if you have a grandfathered .50 on the back of a Humvee you could let a 5-year old turn a whole pack of feral pig into red mist and bits of fur.

This generation of white kids don't like to breed.

Something to do with mating in captivity.

Mr Lazy says stay at the current no travel ez gig.

My sister Lynn, a workaholic, said I inspired her not to work so much. :dancing:

I think they will. I thought the same about millennials but now most of the folks I grew up with have kids. They grow up eventually . . . Problem is some wait too long and their fertility goes to crap. So it goes I guess

A lot of millennials are now in their mid-30s and are married and have careers and kids and have moved out of their hip urban apartments and bought houses in the 'burbs and are slowly becoming like their parents.
