Long term opiate use is bad but so is long term chronic pain.

Especially toward the end of life taking opiates doesn't really matter.

This has all happened before and will happen again.

On a side note, if you want an opiate high, heavy dead lifts give you that feeling but you got to move some serious weight.

Ice baths and Saunas too.

THat is how I would treat chronic pain if I couldn't take opiates.

I wish we could fast forward to the scientific discovery that sedentary lifestyle, our sh*tty diet, our obesity, inflammation, and our microbiome are the culprits.

Or at the very least we come to the conclusion that humans weren't meant to live forever.
