Teachers seem mature and well adjusted.

I had great classes today.

The kids worked hard and were making a lot of connections. We listened to the Beatles while they worked. Super good social engagement vibe.
Are Mouklis, or Yuan still there? I can't remember the names of anyone else.

By now kids from stable families on the RHS of the bell curve have pulled their kids out, so now they no longer have to support everyone - only the Latinos and other immigrant children and special needs. School is now ESL and special needs, but only for vaccinated children. Only two constituencies.
Wow. That's quite a hyperbolic generalization. White flight is a thing in some areas and I am sure you could find some schools that fit that description, but most don't.

What they sing at my kids' school
1. Joyful, joyful, we adore thee,
God of glory, Lord of love;
hearts unfold like flowers before thee,
opening to the sun above.
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness;
drive the dark of doubt away.
Giver of immortal gladness,
fill us with the light of day!

2. All thy works with joy surround thee,
earth and heaven reflect thy rays,
stars and angels sing around thee,
center of unbroken praise.
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
flowery meadow, flashing sea,
chanting bird and flowing fountain,
call us to rejoice in thee.

3. Thou art giving and forgiving,
ever blessing, ever blest,
well-spring of the joy of living,
ocean depth of happy rest!
Thou our Father, Christ our brother,
all who live in love are thine;
teach us how to love each other,
lift us to the joy divine.

4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus
which the morning stars began;
love divine is reigning o'er us,
binding all within its span.
Ever singing, march we onward,
victors in the midst of strife;
joyful music leads us sunward,
in the triumph song of life.
Here's what they sing in California public schools

You are my other me.
Si te hago daño a ti,
If I do harm to you,
Me hago daño a mi mismo.
I do harm to myself.
Si te amo y respeto,
If I love and respect you,
Me amo y respeto yo.
I love and respect myself.

So a dumb song for dumb kids to be taught by dumb teachers. It's interesting to watch the California public education regime give back all the intellectual capital from Christendom, like math (take that, Newton and Leibniz!) All this ends in Meso-American stone age life, which should be easy to teach because there's just not much to teach. It's the level of civilization enjoyed by the Sumerians 4,000 years ago with similar religion. Its almost as if the religion shapes the culture. :unsure:

Man. If that guidance counselor could force someone to get a gender reassignment surgery, they must be great at getting kids into college and getting kids to go to class on time.

I'm so sick of this coronavirus and this abnormal attention to it. It's as if there are no other diseases anymore, and only the coronavirus is our only problem. I am infinitely sorry for teachers and children who somehow have to adapt to all this.
My daughter is a teacher at school, and she cried every day because it was tough for her to work like that. I felt so sorry for her.
Teachers must somehow adapt their classes to the online version. I can't imagine how difficult it is.
Fortunately, she got acquainted with a blog for teachers https://www.twinkl.co.uk/blog/teacher-blogs-that-trainee-teachers-should-be-following, where she found useful tips for her work.
I don't understand what some people like about distance learning. It's terrible.

I had a great class right now.

It's such a good feeling when you got a class trained up.

Two more weeks and then it's GTF0 time
