now do oil execs and hedge-fund bros
He doesn't see anything wrong with what they're doing and he seems to detest anything other than rolling coal and drilling babies or something.

the ticket-buying frenzy that I witnessed at work last year argues otherwise.
Nearly half (45%) are millennials, while Gen Xers (21%) and baby boomers (23%) each represent just under one-fourth of total avid Swift fans.

I don't doubt the data, i'm just saying that the high school kids of all ages (mostly female) went crazier than the hockey players from Strange Brew when those tix went on sale.

It is incomprehensible that someone could have that wide of an audience and yet here we are.

I didn’t think Taylor Swift fans were old enough to vote.

Speaking of her, I was curious why she is so popular, so I checked out her Tiny Desk concert recently. I think it’s normally a good venue to evaluate a musical artist. It was rudimentary at best. I think what’s going on here is that her fans are mostly pre-teens, so the “girl power” themed lyrics are enough to carry her. Actually, I think that’s the problem with the music industry in general – most of the $ comes from very young people (i.e. people who don’t know what good music is).

I also checked out Post Malone on Tiny Desk since he is very popular and seems to be hiding his voice behind a lot of effects. Yup, he can’t sing for sh!t, and brought along a dozen other musicians to hide behind.

Now get off my lawn!

I live a little less than two miles from my town's little airport. I can watch planes on approach to land out my kitchen door. Its very rare that any jets land there other than the small Cessna Citation owned by the former GM of the Philadelphia 76rs. Its mostly little single propeller planes. Couple of years back I hear a much louder than normal jet coming in and go look out the back door. This thing is freaking huge. Couldn't believe someone was landing a plane that big on our tiny little runway. Turned out it was Taylor Swift. They could have landed that beast at one of the two much more suitable big airports nearby. The runway is so short for a plane like that they would have had to feed it a lot of dinosaurs on the way out. I bet the people who live at the other end of the runway weren't too stoked when that thing took off over their houses to leave.

How many winged toilets have been caught in the jetwash from Tay Tay's G6, gone into a flat spin, and had the movie sidekick die on ejection to up the stakes?
