That tape was a lie made up by the Clinton campaign.

Come on dude it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. The talk of the tape was the Clinton campaigns last desperate move and it didn't work. Now how much are you hearing about this tape now? It's all but disappeared like the missing clips in the zapruder film. It's next to impossible to keep something like that under wraps in this day and age. People can't keep their sex tapes to themselves. This tape was supposedly on sale by the chicago church before being removed by their online store. Someone has to own a copy. You don't think all the news outlets would pay big bucks to sink their teeth into a copy? How about the clinton campaign during that last week? If it was real, and as incriminating as some say they'd get that tape on the air at all costs.
If it exists its probably not nearly as incriminating as many are hoping and they could do more damage by simply talking about it without ever showing it. Just like terrorism can be just as effective in the threat alone effecting people without ever executing a plan.
In other words, you don't have a source, but this is what, in your mind, you believe to be the case.

Clinton backers claimed it was in the hands of Republicans who were holding onto it until it was convenient for them. It makes for a good argument but I'd have a hard time believing that if that were the case it would be screened for so many people who supposedly saw it but couldn't come forward with a copy. Instead it gives them an alibi to talk about something thats quite possibly a lie. And now of course with Clinton out of it talk of the tape is almost non-existent...coincidence? I'm willing to bet you $50 right here and right now that that tape either never sees the light of day before November 4th or that if it does its not at all the incriminating campaign ender people are expecting to be and its simply Michelle Obama saying "Why'd he...., Why'd he...." with a hint of ebonics becoming a non-issue. In fact lets make this bet no-risk to you. If this tape is released prior to Nov 4th and is in fact what it was trumped up to be PM your address and I'll send you $50 or I'll send $50 to the McCain campaign...your choice.

Dude, your willingness to bet has nothing to do with whether something is true or false. I doubt the tapes existence, simply because I doubt if it could have been smothered so effectively in an effort at holding it for later use. What I had problems with was you ascribing the tape rumor to Clinton sources as if your supposition was fact. You don't know that.
But, if I don't have to put any money up and you are willing to send me 50 bucks if the tape becomes reality, hell yeah. Why would I turn down a no risk bet? After all, it was this same kind of bet which won me a 100 bucks re Monica's little blue dress. Took the wife out for a nice dinner on that one.
And yeah, the 50 would go directly to me. I don't think I can vote for JM. But then I don't think I can vote for BO either. I think you're all being sold a bill of goods with this CHANGE and HOPE bullshit. I figure it will be same old, same old.
