Heck ya. Was one of my fav articles at the time. Felt kinda like a prelude to where Surfers Journal went.

I had a south korean colleague who used to work for Samsung that got burnt-out working 14 hours a day so he bought a Honda somewhere in Mexico and drove to Tierra Del Fuego. After he recovered from his near "work death" (karoshi), he found an American company to work for (ours). Anyways, this seems to be semi-common there.

The guy in the OP is a cliche. He doesn't look to be anywhere close to karoshi.
How do you figure?

The guy in the article did 20,000km on a motorcycle, with a surfboard.

That is some serious riding and really quite a bit of work.

I wouldn’t bet against him, I think he’ll make it no problem. He did the first trip on a motorcycle when there was far more turmoil in those regions. The vast majority are much different now then they were.

I wonder if El Salvador is worse now that it was in the 00s?

in some parts of WCSA it doesn't rain.....so....the highway in general takes
less punishment...which means its possible to have modern highways...in fine
shape...where you can really STEP ON IT! :ban:
