Whatever. Cry me a river. As a competitor I used to feel the same way about Huntington Beach. At that time everything in CA competitive surfing seemed to culminate in HB. Hated that place. Put on your big boy pants and suck it up or go get a real job. The WSL should turn around and either fine them HUGE or ban them from the next event. They can change their name to Gestapo Pro Surfing.

Oh the horror of being sent to surf a wave pool for a couple days between jaunts to tropical points unknown. That excessive heat cant be good for all the girlfriends bolt ons either I suppose. Bitter working man out!

I totally get it, I wouldn't want to compete there either. It's so boring to watch anyone surf there, I never watch those vids anymore.

My next door neighbor just got a wild-card spot to compete at Surf Ranch. Maybe because someone dropped out? Kelly and other pros used to skip boring spots like the Brazil stop. How is this any different?
