Boat has all that stuff. lots of jokes about the stapler last year. All the fire bros were excited to use it on someone.

Came back on the boat bleeding everywhere and my buddy went all EMT on me hahaha

I’ve never worn a helmet but am considering.

1-3’, offshore wind, high tide with a backwash. Hanging 6, hit the backwash, sunk the nose on the other side and shot a Bing gold standard 10-15ft in the air. No leash. 9.5”D fin caught my head. Covered head to toe ina watery bloody mess. Looked like a wrestler. And it’s 4th of July weekend, packed beach. Mfer. Def concussed. Tried to play it off.Nope. Close the beach, cleared the water, ambulance ride. ER.8 hrs, 14 staples. Took me almost 3 months to recover from the concussion.

i still get sh!t about it over 15 years later - that time I ruined everyone’s session.

I wear a helmet kiteboarding all the time. Considering getting a foil and that will also be a helmeted activity.

My neck doesn't need any more stress during a session than it already gets. I worry more about the getting hit by the idiots out on small days than anything.
