California will move into Stage 2 of the state's reopening plan by the end of this week, Governor Gavin Newsom announced during a press conference Monday.

The governor noted the state has released a new list of activities allowed on its COVID19.ca.gov website for Stage 2, and we've posted it below. All of these activities are allowed as long as they're done only with members of your household and if you maintain a distance of six feet from others.

- Base Jumping (singles)
- Bird calling
- Butterfly catching (singles)
- Chess (regular, not timed)
- Fishing
- Fumbling for keys
- Hunting
- Jumping Rope (singles)

California has moved deeper into Stage 2 of the State's reopening plan. But, largely owing to the lack of any Eastern Expansion of the Western States Pact, inhabitants have started forcing the State's hand. Most of the Counties in the State have started to call their own shots after the Supreme Leader of the Western States Pact took unpopular stands against Rodeos, Gospel Music and American Baseball.

In an attempt to stem the tide of dissent, there have been some additional items added to the list of Approved Outdoor & Indoor Activities effective June 12, 2020 unless otherwise noted:

- Arson (effective immediately)
- Attending Places of Worship (Does NOT include Burning Man)
- Dine in Restaurants (in the hinterlands)
- Drive in movie theaters
- Gambling (on Tribal Lands)
- Going to the DMV
- Golfing (doubles, only if cart has protective partition)
- Gyms (curls must be performed at least 6 feet from mirrors)
- Haircuts (in the hinterlands)
- Retail stores (for both purchases and looting)
- Rioting (effective immediately)
- Surfing
- Viewing of Caged Animals at Zoos

As always Higher Risk Individuals (over 65 or with serious medical conditions) should continue to stay home until Stage 4.

He runs,...
With absolutely nothing to back him up. I was told as a yougster, 15 years ago. A community college is like a batleship. If you fall overboard, It's not going to steam around in circles to pick you up.

I am falling overboard. Gavin can pick up the SLACK.

Emperor Newsom, sensing that the Citizens of California (and by extension the rest of the Western States Pact) were beginning to take for granted the freedoms he had recently granted them, issued a new and stricter framework for the peasants to be granted any additional freedoms. This new methodology apparently avoids entirely the notion of using hospitalization or ICU admittance rates as a metric.

In related but separate statements the Emperor has cited the present catastrophe of Climate Change as requiring clarification on a few freedoms that will need review:

- Arson is NOT permitted outside of city limits
- Driving a non-electric vehicle is under review
- Haircuts are permitted for the Political Class but are under review for the rest of you people

The Emperor issued an additional message to placate the masses by stating that “Nothing in the state guidelines denies the ability for the Pac-12 to resume. That’s been a misrepresentation of the facts.”

However, state guidelines clearly prevent players from practicing in cohorts larger than 12, which makes football difficult.

This recent subversive coverage by the Mercury News will likely lead to a press crackdown due to Covid.

You forgot to add "Rioting" to the list of approved activities.

The more he tightens his grip, the more counties will slip through his fingers:

As most of you peasants know, Emperor Newsom has recently issued a new edict wherein you morons need to STAY HOME. You can not see anyone outside of your immediate household, even if you are outside.

Due to his overly magnanimus insticts, Newsom has allowed for a few exceptions to this proclamation, for now:

- You can go to religious services outside (some pack of cretins sued the State over this, they will be dealt with later)
- You can protest outside (presumably as long as the protests aligns politically with the ruling class)
- You can go buy your stupid trinkets at the mall
- As usual you can go to the bank, grocery store, gas station, liquor store and THC/CBD dispensary to buy the marijuanas

And for the children, during the holiday season:

A reminder: if you are caught driving between counties after 10pm you will be remanded to the gardening crew for the Governor's mansion.
