Here's the Stretch site text:

It has a huge range of surfing potential in average to unreal wave conditions and has been serving as Nathan’s step up board and all around shortboard when not lofting ollies on Mr. Buzz.

My personal feeling is the 2x4 is a seamless transition from my superbuzz. If I was to have a 2 board quiver that would be it.... The 2x4 is really an amazing board. From my talk with Dave he described the buzzsaw as a 2'' pug nose 2x4 top half and super buzz bottom half. Every since that conversation I've been frothing. Ordering going in soon.

Sounds very intriguing. For those in the know...when you refer
to the nose as a 2" or 3" 'Pug Nose', does that essentially mean
that everything else about the board remains the same, but
the nose is 'chopped' 2 or 3" and then curved out by hand,
just making the nose width more full?
Rocker and everything else remains the same?
I ask because I'm liking more rounded off noses on a couple of
my boards (VS and Tomo).

Yeah - pug nose means he chops off a couple inches and blends it

Does stretch have a bunch of ass pinups in his shaping bay? Love it

Board looks sick, especially the tail. Stretch quad is on my list of things to try.
My guess is Bill is an ass man but I like to think those curves inspire him to come up with his vision of round tail quads and the noses on boards like the PUG and SuperBuzz...its all about the curves, not the perves...

Someone 6'3", 210 would ride what in this? If I was going to splurge, a stretch is definitely on the shortlist...

An average brand name custom board retails in Australia for around $800-$950 Aussie dollars. My Stretch boards that I import in cost me about $1300 - $1400 but...they are worth it to me. I have ordered about 7 or 8 inc the latest..something like that. The build quality and designs put the in a league of their own for me. I highly recommend the EPS Tech versions...almost indestructible and surf so nice.

I love craigslist, I just picked up a virtually new Buzzsaw for $420 today, bless you seller if you haunt these forums. 5'9x19x2 3/8. It's nuts, I almost pulled the trigger on either a new buzzsaw or a 2x4, near the same dimensions. Anyways, it's convertible FCS, and I only have a set of K3s. Anyone know what quad/thruster configs would work well for a 170lber on this board?I'm gonna take it down to SoCal on the 13th, hoping things are juicy down there (It'll be my first time surfing south of SC county...)

Nice tresfaim! I debated hard about buying that board (or the 5'10'' that was up there a day or two ago). Looked like a great deal but I'm still debating if I want a superbuzz or buzzsaw to augment the 2x4 I just picked up. Enjoy the board, it looked sick!

Picked one up off CL in 5'11''x19.75''x2.375''. Came with the carver fins for the FCS II boxes. Surfed beach break saturday morning and on a couple of the larger waves (maybe chest high-ish) I noticed some slipping on bottom turns. I'm about 175lbs. Curious to hear what fins work for others.

I'm really tempted to get the Fins Unlimited #3 template, it seems a bunch of peeps have had success with it on the Superbuzz (from reading the Superbuzz thread), but I'm still hesitant, and for all I can discern you can only buy them for $110 at realwatersports (fins unlimited website is not really functional). Does anyone know if Stretch sells these fins out of his shop?

Awaiting my new Buzzsaw V2...What fins would you guys get (I am getting Futures) besides the Blue Stretch template (I already have a set)...I told them to include the Rasta Quads, but the feedback on the fins unlimited Stretch S3 template has me wondering if I should switch it up...What would you guys get?? I am in the clydesdale class..6 x 215 lbs...thanks.
