I have a friend who is a very talented and respected shaper (and big wave rider) in his own right , but swears by Coletta's (balsa) guns-

Steve and a few other freinds from the 70's would have made a great addition to the T&C Factory in the mid 80's

My friends older brother gave it to me! I know another guy who doesnt even surf and has a cherry 1980s coletta shortboard in his garage . I am going to take him some bourbon and make an offer...
