I cant even imagine what "Leave if you can" will be doing on Friday. Might be a historic session for anyone that can get out there.. possibly rivaling if not better than that El Nino 98 swell with D Randazzo and D Hobgood slaying those giant perfect walls.

Just listened to a press conference and this thing is no joke.
Mandatory evacs for large areas of Montecito and the Alisal/Cave Fire burn areas.
2"-4" along the coast and possibly 8"-10" in the mountains.
Might not be going work tomorrow if Montecito floods again.
Stay safe out there.

lots of yin yang for norcal with this one.

been a few years since we had a proper gully washer. lots of sand and gravel getting pushed out river and creekmouths running headlong into the teeth of a massive swell. stir in some minus tides and the sand is going fly.

not sure where its all going to wind up but the banks are going to look very different when it all shakes out in a week or two
