Nice work. I've always admired your boards.

One of the best boards I've ever owned was a 9'2 T&C longboard by you. It has a beautiful blue airbrush and glass FCS thrusters. I stupidly sold it on craigslist to an infamous Kailua surfboard shop owner/flipper for some reason. Still regret it 13 years later.

Wow. Those were the fins the board had. The board was a performance longboard design from that era with thin rails and a pulled in tail. I bought it from a military guy on craigslist who said he wanted to learn to surf and quit after his second try.

Nice Palace and sleds!
What part of shaping do you use the 2 grinders for?

GG,
You say you use the DSD and Shape 3D software/machines for your cuts.
What, in your experiences, would you say are the differences/comparisons-positives/negatives between the both,
and, why and how do they compare with the APS/AKU machine and software?

Main thing is how the machine is being run

The DSD cut is more work to finish , but if its more consistent and problem free that's the one I favor

Shape 3D cuts on most machines are more finished , APS , AKU , KKL type etc.

AKU program produces a similar finish

Best run machine wins

Do either of those machines cut your channels? swallow tails?
just curious really as to how refined those machines work, compared to the APS, which I am familiar with. thx
