Foil boards should be $200 max. They don't need to have much of a shape and they don't need any carbon fiber. Foil surfing is even more wack than SUPing, so at least it should be cheap. A sport with equipment costing $2000 will just make it so that the particiants are Jewish loan-sharks in tropical exile.I'm not a shaper but I've been designing foil boards working with Brawner surfboard from San Clemente which has a good glassing carbon experience.
Now back to France I keep desiging board for Brawner and I also do it as well in France working with a really experienced carbon glassing guy.
I starded to do it because at this time (2 years ago) I couldn't find what I wanted in the market, I didn't want to get a made in China board anymore (it was a Takuma which was actually good but heavy) and it was just the beginning of Freedom, KT, ...
Now I stoked on how perform my equipement, foil board is a way more important than some people think.
This is The Guy !!Really liked John Amundson's podcast episode:

I don't agree, carbon board if it is well done which means you need an experienced glass job will make a difference.Foil boards should be $200 max. Yet still, everyone is swerving 10 feet out on the shoulder on 1ft waves.
