Maybe so. I just find that restricting food intake to 11am-7pm is relatively easy. Big late breakfast/lunch and a solid dinner will hold me.

The hardest part is staying out of the kitchen at midnight...but that's always been the problem anyway.:giggle:
I think it's good to fast just so you know how it feels.

I go into fight flight when I fast.

I couldn't teach when I fasted.

It really compromised my thinking.

I have a friend who just doesn't eat. It's like he forgets. It will be night time and he goes, "Oh, I didn't eat anything today."

I’m glad I’m not in one of those religions where you fast all day, or days, or a month

I don’t eat because I’m hungry, but that doesn’t mean I don’t eat for other reasons
I mean, for nutrition, obviously
But I eat a lot when I’m stressed out, and my wife cooks and bakes all the time, so I eat because it tastes great
And sometimes, when I have a little of something sweet, it just opens the floodgates for more and more and more sugar
So, yeah, not hunger, but other triggers that I need to manage

This is why i wish i got Covid, losing my sense of taste would have been great to help cut weight

I've seen people go crazy on them.

I get super chill.

If I take occasionally, I really enjoy. My body always tells me when to stop.

Only 10% of the population will have addiction issues.

But I don't feel bad for them: An addictive personality is a gift.

Get addicted to weight lifting, guitar, Stoicism, and ice baths and make the world your oyster.

Gotta be great for you
I think those are such good health building behaviors.

It puts us in a more robust natural state.

Right now we are like domesticated pigs.

I think they would help any mental or physical issues.

I was to get a sauna but a decent one is 5 Gs.

I'm trying not to buy sh!t.

You can get a lot of benefits of IF by lowering your calories a little

But if you like it, there is not reason not to do it.

Once I get lean and train hard four-6 times a week, I can eat what I want.

Getting lean takes diet and exercise.

But maintaining is all about training.

I prefer that set up.

I'm a fatso now.
