San Diego Thanksgiving weekend

Okay. I know it will be stupidly crowded. I'm mostly interested in figuring out if there are any spots that aren't going to be obnoxiously crowded and where I can actually get a wave. Is it possible to find something that isn't too competitive in terms of crowds during a holiday weekend at one of the most densely-surf-populated stretches of coast in the world?

I'm not asking for secret spots. But maybe there are some spots that are a little less crowded around that time that are still well known? I'm thinking beachbreaks or something.

San Diego is full on transplants and many of them leave town for the big holidays. You may get lucky at some of the lesser known spots.

It's probably the most obnoxiously crowded day/weekend of the year. TBH I don't even consider surfing.

It's more fun looking at all the people surfing and saying "I'm glad I'm not in the midst of that horrific orgy."

Sometimes it's not crowded because people are eating dinner.
