That was struggle-bus time for him. I've been out in different lineups (San Diego and Playa Hermosa CR) with him over the years and he's usually one of the best out in the water. Mikey, unlike Salsa, has a lot more variation in performance when he's on a bort he clicks with as opposed to something (like this one) he can't figure out.
