Ghostshapes feels like a label built on undercutting the other labels by using the same ghostshapers that make the label boards. I mean, production guys have been making boards outside the label under their own name forever, but Ghostshapes seems to be trying to create an actual label, that's not a label. I don't get it. Production guys making their own one off stuff works because the overhead is low or hidden in the production work.
I think Duran Barr from Surfboard Broker is involved with both. His dad has been a production shaper for a long time. They tried to bring his label online through Surfboard broker With Buran and the rest of the crew but didn't have much success.
