And without that road on the left how much business would he be doing?

He, his friends and his neighbors built that road.

Obama did what you're attempting to do, and say his words were taken out of context. He was
really talking about roads. Wrong. If you listen IN CONTEXT Obama was railing against
successful people, talking about how everything small businessmen do is attributable to
government.

Bullshit. Government is a servant of the people.

People "did that".
..
No, people didn't do that. The jerk posing with the sign would never build that road because it would never make him any profit.
The government has a role in society and you better think about what you just said here before you start bitching again about big government and how you have to pay taxes. His business would not exist without the government and tax payers money, you admitted it yourself in this post.

Now STFU and eat a bag of dicks. You know you like it as much as that chicken sandwich.
Totally agree...

A whole bunch of busy little WASP's with blood, sweat and tears worked their asses off for about 200 years to build all that shyt. Now it's time to socialize it. I'm already looking forward to all that free shyt I'm entitled to.
It's not free, you libertardians and republitards should stop saying that.
It's payed by us, American citizens, and it helps us build our businesses.
It's paid by tax money because nobody would ever invest in it because it would never make them any money. Yet our prosperity depends on it.
Imagine the infrastructure we would have had if everybody paid their fair share instead of bitching about big government, "handouts" and paying their taxes and if we didn't **** out the tax payers money on policing the world and supporting the obsolete military industrial complex.

Go and set up you health insurance brokerage scam on a deserted island and see how that works out for you.

That's not YOUR wave! You didn't make it. It belongs to all of us.
So, when I drop in on you, STFU about "get off MY wave." It's my wave just as much as it is yours.
You didn't make it. You didn't catch it. Somewhere, there was a coach or teacher or role model that showed you how to do that, so share the surf!

The waves belong to all of us.

This message has been brought to you by the Obama Surf Team.

What caps my goat
Is not the fact that the POTUS said this but that I think he "believes" it.
Who the f uck does the Gov. think it is acting like a spoiled child demanding attention from the "grownups"?
MF Gov. is our servant and not our "master"...

I get the feeling the Conservatards on here would be happy going back to the Articles of Confederation....

and I'll concede now. The government didn't build those roads. God put them there so business owners could profit. His angels make sure that they stay maintained as well. Your time in church ensures that this happens.

Look at the $500 million Obama threw at Solyndra for a small example of wasted taxpayer "stimulus" funds. Why didn't they succeed?
Exactly, it was the Republicans fault. Obama could have built a road to Solyndra's front door and then it would most definitely have succeeded. Alas, his hands were tied because "Congress failed to act". Damn business hating conservatives.

Obama is the Exacerbator in Chief

I don't like Romney because he's rich. I like him because he solves problems.

A problem like taking a successful business that is not quite making its owners/backers enough profits? His solution is to outsource the labor and bankrupt the company... then those backers get their profits

Would that be a forclosure or a short sale?

I much prefer the Obama approach where we take a company like GE that makes billions and pays no taxes, a company that shelters it assets offshore, a company that has the majority of its employees offshore and we give them 140 billion or so because the billionaires that run it were in a situation where they might not get their multi million dollar bonuses for awhile. We couldn't have that. Here's 140 billion. Your tax dollars at work. Welfare for billionaires. The 1% get richer and the middle class gets it in the ass. Hope and change.

his taxes and citizen taxes built that road. and from the looks of it its not an interstate road. gov cant built squat without citizen money. private sector can exist without the public sector and not the other way around.

This happened during Bush.

But that doesn't matter. All of DC is complicit in the criminality of Wall Street. Just because I hate Romney doesn't mean I like Obama.

This happened during Bush.

If by that you meant Bush took care of the rich at the expense of the middle class you are correct. On the other hand, if you meant the GE bailout happened under Bush you are wrong.

The bailouts started during Bush and were continued in the early days of the Obama presidency. However, these were granted by Congress which as you know is in the middle of their terms when Presidents were elected so it is neither President's "fault"

The welfare for the rich at the expense of the middle class really got on its feet during the criminal Reagan administration

"Assuming what you are doing with the politcal posts in here is campaigning, it seems like a really dumb place to do so. What percentage of this forum is CA based? I'm betting its close to 90%. The state is going for Obama. You're wasting your time here if you are trying to make a difference. But, on the other hand, you probably just get off on this. So whatever."

"The welfare for the rich at the expense of the middle class really got on its feet during the criminal Reagan administration "
- 100% correct. And it did not matter which party was in the White House since then. This country is fvcked. Fvcked by the 1% and their control of our government.

I agree.
