Aloha Bonzer 5ive I was planning on dropping in ~ until I did the math...how far and how many hours to drive'
I have driven highway 5 twice. once after 'Altanount'. stones vs hells angels 1969 and another when my 58 VW bus lost a piston 1970. I thought I could leave after work Friday go to the paddle out (without a board]. then I noticed it was Sunday.
I got sick and did not work Friday. I tried to surf Friday and caught one wave.

My daughter and husband John and Margo gave birth to my second Grand Son at noon on friday

I dreamt up a tiny joke. One surfer Passes ~ another Surfer is Born

All the best

I first met Kenny at a Salt Water Dreams party at GEO's' Hut in pacific Beach. who else?

Sad news.
OTF brought his brand of levity to the -erbb, and I'm sure to all who knew him. Quite a battle he fought. Let's hope there's a flip side where he's catching the perfect wave. After wave. After wave.
Rest in peace.

Kenny's service was today and afterwards I went out to "KC Point" to see the sunset and reflect.

It was a good send off but really sad and emotionally difficult. 56th Street was his favorite place to surf when the South swells filled in and were firing. I hope they are firing right now and forever for you buddy!

Love you buddy and I'm really going to miss you. Already am... until I see you again.

Congrats to you and your family, Grandpa Dale! Nice to see such beautiful news in this thread.
One kicks out; another drops in. :)

Hope you feel better soon!

First time on here in weeks and I find this.

Condolences to family and friends and all who knew him.

Neat dude for sure.

Ironically, I spent this afternoon at a Celebration of Life for the 48 year old son of an old and dear friend of mine who recently passed unexpectedly.

I hate cancer and always will.

R.I.P. OTF.

Everyone else......................

Take care.

The paddle-out was really nice, with a solid turnout from the erBB. Some laughs, a few tears, and a lot of support for MIchelle and the boys. Check that; support for those three fine young men, who led us in honoring their father.

I didn’t take pics, so I don’t have shots of BBers, but my wife took these throughout the event.
