Hey, you’re right for once, Trump supporters realize that there was a violent insurrection at the capitol to stop certification and the peaceful transfer of power.
Maybe. It's also possible that many of the instigators were people trying to make Trump/Maga look bad. Then use it politically. Not really a stretch, not saying it was all one or the other but clearly Pelosi et al wanted this to be a major incident.

That is a serious accusation. Serious accusations need serious evidence to be proven true.

Ray Epps?
Cops un-handcuffing a guy in a back area then high fiving each other?
Not releasing the tapes?
some weird stuff
In what court would that weird stuff absolve the thousands of people who were breaking into the Capitol, fighting with cops, committing vandalism while trespassing, threatening to murder elected government officials, and doing their best to forcibly stop the results of the Presidential election from being certified?

Are there crazies on both sides in that crowd? absolutely
Assuming there was a sizable crowd of anti-election-deniers there, given that no court in the land ruled that the election was stolen and there’s no evidence that it was stolen, their position would not have been crazy.

So the “fiery but mostly peaceful” summer of protests may have been caused by the right trying to make the left look bad?

Surely the social media history has come out on at least one of the “political prisoners” seen on video assaulting Capitol Police. Does it line up with your theory?

Or are we saying MAGA are gullible and easily persuaded to violent outbursts?

Many more to come now that the video has been released

From the article:

After President Joe Biden was announced as the winner of the 2020 presidential election, Trump's misinformation caused Gardner to believe "that the election had been stolen and the way of life in America was about to change," the document says.

Gardner had never been politically active before 2020, but during Trump's presidency he "flourished financially," which led him to believe the misinformation that Trump was spreading, his attorneys said.
