If I needed one more I would just get another ghost. I’m in my second (6’2 and 6’0). Don’t know man, sometimes we look for different stuff to replace boards that actually work very well, and the probability of getting something not as good is just so high…

I'd think deeply about how big/powerful the waves will be and what you're interested in catching. Iirc it's not uncommon for guys to be on 6'8" plus boards for double overhead uluwatu etc. Depending on your home zone you may be surprised at what people consider a stepup for good waves.
Thank you this is great advice and why I am switching things up this year. Last trip I flat out didn’t have the right boards and a couple sessions I paid the price.

going with some better weapons this time. I am not going to be out if we get any truly insane days but I want to chase some bombs.

who knows maybe I will have some success this time :roflmao::drowning:

Yeah if you have a Ghost already i'd get at least one board that is a bit longer for more paddle power. Rusty Blackbird is a great one but maybe the Traveler would also be worth considering for indo barrels.

What other boards are you thinking of bringing?

I took a chilli shortie and Dhd sweet spot as step up to Indo last July. The shortie was gold up to 6’ and I reached for the sweet spot on the bigger sessions. Chilli faded 2 would be a good option too. I considered the sharp eye 77+ and happy traveller as well, all look like good nice wave boards.
