Just noticed that in his first post he claims it was a rumor he had heard, but in a later post he claims he gets paid to bring facts to the public. Which one is it? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

Cool guy you are. Your in this industry? Bummer. A quick review of your past posts reveals that you reply mostly to topics that involve Futures fin sytem, or posts involving Lokbox, which you bash, and call everybody stupid. My guess is you are employed by Futures, or one of the glassers that pump Futures. Or maybe not, who knows. I could care less really. Just curious though what you feel you tend to gain by your post, whether you are involved with them or not? In one of your past posts you mentioned something about that I wonder why Lokbox isn't doing well, and then wished me luck. Why would I wonder that? We're doing just fine, thank you. But if the only way you can think of to compete with us, is by slandering rainbow, and telling lies about them, you'll need the luck way more than us. We are diplomatic, and truthful in our ventures and business relationships. Sorry you feel so threatened by us. I could spew crap on here all day long and back it up with facts, but where does that get you? You are well well respected in your industry, I am not hear to bash you, If you give me your word that this rumour is wrong I will believe you.
For your info, I work for a company outside the manufactory and inside the industry.
I get to hear everything from contract numbers to kickbacks. I know of alot of dirty secrets in your industry.
Please explain the situation you have with this company Rainbow?
I ask you, do you really want to further bring this to the public?

A design forum hardly seems the place to attack business practices with rumors but some people are just starved for attention; sadly the only way they can get it is by being derogatory and they don't need facts to trump something up.

I've been around the surfcraft industry for over three decades so obviously I'm too old to have anything worthwhile to say to the guys aren't going to get old. After all they'd rather die first. But I do have a question for a few of the surfers on this thread. -- Why waste you time with a troll who shows up to do nothing but make a bunch of disjointed accusations built on half truths? The first attempt at a sentence sludgebarrel makes on this thread doesn't make any sense. Putting a question mark after a statement doesn't make it a question. What follows is clearly puts flaming much higher on his list than learning anything about the truth.

These kind of excerecizes can't do anyone any good.
The world if full of rumors. In all but the most execptional cases IMHO they are best ignored. I seldom show up on thread like this because I prefer to keep my focus on the aloha spirit.
Rainbow fins have been around for a long time and I'm sure this isn't the first time someone has slung mud at them. All their products have a very smooth finish so I'm sure this will wash with just a single dip in the sea.

However, I too work in the industry, and have heard this same rummor, ( comment, or what you have it may be, strait from the horses mouth). This is nothing new for the industry so we all should not be ashamed, but however we should, ( no matter how much we dislike someone that is on this thread) take for what they have they to say as serious as our own opinion. For if we start to judge on one another, we are no worse than the one that made the comment.

I have heard so much b**** on this website, that we should all be ashamed that we even take things so much to heart. If your that much insocure about what or who you work for than f-u anyways. And just if your wondering i don't work for any of the fin companies but, however a huge retailer.
