Seriously though I think I'm done paying $50-60 retail for trunks - I'm just going to buy gym shorts with a drawstring. If I kook, I kook.
Agreed. $90 plus??? Thats out of the question especially since the cost of goods (nylon) is nil.

All I want are solid colors, tripple stitch, dual cargo pockets on the sides, non stretch material. I'll pay $20-30 for that but I'll still be a little sour

Costco had A table full of rip curl trunks that fit this exact description. $17. I bought two pair.

I just hit up the Rip Curl outlet in Camarillo during the winter and get em for $40.00 I don't really care if I'm wearing last year's leftovers. As long as they're soft and fit right. :waving:

It was said that Quik musta had a deal with the devil for the 95' and 97' G-land contests, they were that good. No joke. But, in those same circles Ive also heard that Slater had a deal with the devil, which is more probably given his record.

This thread made me go to Quik’s website and I ordered a bunch of white Quik T’s,(I still love good fitting white T’s.) and a new pair of board shorts.

Only had to return 1 tshirt. It was a yellowish Organic T, just too big in the neck.

Loose fitting T’s in the neck ruined surf companies. I never understood, how they never understood how important the neck fit was/is.

My favorite all time Quik Tshirt was the white T with the yellow/orange/red hibiscus flower on the back. Bring that back with a pocket in front pleae.
