Question: Why was America's supply of N-95 respirator masks so low at the start of this outbreak?

I don't see either you or Obama owning up to this fckup.
.
All administrations inherit baggage from the previous. Some more than others. Despite what Trump likes to claim, Obama had a much rougher starting point.

Either way, you know what the issues are and what needs addressing as soon as you take a seat in the oval office. At that point, it's on you to decide what needs get done. Regardless of who created the issue, it's your friggin responsibility to fix it once you are in office. Especially something as simple as ordering some paper masks.

Trump had 3 years to do something, and he failed, because he decided to focus on what he felt was important. Sad!

You said "Sure. And if there had been another health crisis during Obama's term, they would 100% own that failure to replenish". If Obama was so self effacing then why hasn't he owned up to depleting our supply of respirators without replacing them?

No, I don't think it's incumbent on an incoming president to check.on every nut and bolt when he has the knowledge that previous congresses and presidents faithfully stockpiled them for emergencies..... but some dumbass used them all up without saying anything.

It's like when you use up the last scrap of toilet paper in the house without telling your wife. That's on YOU.

If you are hired as president of a company and come in and find out the previous guy let all the fire extinguishers expire, and then 3-1/2 years later there's a fire and the fire extinguishers don't work, it's not the previous guy's fault.

I don’t expect the new president to personally check on all those things, although he does have people working for him that do. Every president has to clean up messes from their predecessors and move the country forward.

If you fail to do so, especially something as basic as ordering masks, then maybe you aren’t cut out for the job?

Trump's biggest challenge in this term has been the obstacles erected by swamp holdovers from the Obama administration who still work for Trump. The biggest problem with federal workers is that you can't fire them for fcking up. The incoming president is basically stuck with the people of the previous fckup.

Have your Democrat House change the laws governing firing for cause, and then you might have a bitch.

Why are you contorting yourself to apologize for a "man" who is unable to take responsibility for anything without pouting and pointing fingers?

Do you apply this level of honor to other aspects of your life? Do you feel other people should look up to that behavior?

Right here on these pages leftists bitched that Trump was somehow hording all of the stockpiled N-95 masks kept for emergencies instead of distributing them to New York.

The title article shows that to be a lie.

:ROFLMAO:
Trump was born halfway home from home base and so was his presidency. He didn't inherit an economy in shambles like Obama did.

Again, all it would've required was for Trump to make a 30 second phone call to order more masks. Done. It's not like some complicated political or socioeconomic factor that requires paradigm shifts to accomplish.
