Oh yeah, you're right. The color pattern made it look like a pickleforked nose on his bottom turn.
Fling if you want to throw spray. The others if you want to water ski.
I have a Gremlin. I don't love it. Feels like too much rocker for what I want out of a groveler. I could see it working well for places that have good or at least punchy small waves (like Hawaii). It's fun when the waves are over waist high with shape but it just doesn't have much of that fishy glide and instant speed in sub par surf that my favorite small wave boards do. The exposed beachies in my area have push but my local is pretty tucked away so is oftentimes kind of mushy and probably more akin to a bad socal wave. Puddle Jumper and Fling (in that order) go better for me in those types of waves and they both also work in small open beach days just fine.
