I've only ridden mine in the much beloved pool so far, will get her in some actual waves next week. Initial impressions are very good.
5ish month review
Summer in Northern/Central California. The precious is the board I have in the car most days unless its super super small. Like the guy in the review, I found it performed best when the waves had a little push. I've been riding it with NVS Album quads in, but just got those Futures Scimitar fins which I'm keen to test out.
I still find myself having to be more conscious of where I place my hands to pop up. If you have your hands out wider to your rails, the board becomes more unstable. I guess this will be better in the long run as my pop-ups will become cleaner.
I went on one trip over this time (El-Salvador, El Zonte) and I found the precious was the best board for this wave (Mushy point). I could hammer on the tail and basically do whatever I wanted, and it would still carry speed. It was up against a Dark Arts Bom Dia, which was a bit hit our miss. Would feel amazing one wave, and then feel dead the next.
I'm going to France/Spain this week, and it looks pretty small. I'll be bringing the precious and maybe a CI Pro Venerial for the last day that we are there

Surfed mine in 3-5/6ft French mush and clean conditions. For me the perfect board due to its versatility. It's easy to control (even in steeper sections) but also maneuverable and paddles easy. It's more on the heavier side though. Mine is a pu 5'9" 30.8l in standard dims.

How tall and heavy are you? I'm 6ft 170 lbs, thinking about getting a custom 5'7" 19.5 2.25 as 29.2L.
